I'm probably not the only one who worries when it comes to phone calls. As someone who is an introvert, whenever I see an unknown caller popping up on my screen, I always feel extremely uncomfortable. I don't like the idea that there is a potential stranger on the other side of the line and that I have to go through all the steps to find their intentions. However, it would be much easier for me if I could put the name in the phone number string.

Well, that would be the problem the True Caller developer intended to solve. This powerful database maps almost all calls to name or organization and allows you to view the number first before accepting the call.
The application is based on a huge database based on phone books in many countries. If what I was
hoping for is true, then it will also be updated daily to keep up with new check-in numbers. But at this point, the app is still working well enough that this is not a cause for concern. Although I was initially skeptical about the range of the application - whether it would work internationally or not. It's nice that this is so. The application supports numbers from different subscribers and regions, Europe, Asia, America, and Africa, up to Australia. Maybe only in Antarctica. As you can tell from the number of, well, well, all over the world, I was a little worried that the app would not support my region.
And Waddaya knows it is so.
The application tried to match incoming calls at the moment when the signal hit the phone. It didn't go smoothly, and there was a slight delay (as expected), but the result came out quite verbose. There were names, addresses, cities, states, nations, and carriers. You can know everything about this person if he or she is registered in his database down to information about his thresholds. While you won't be using this information that much, in my opinion, it is funny for the degree of thoroughness of the information it provides to callers.
Another feature of this app is the ability to comment on phone numbers. I suspect that instead of an internal database, they were browsing public databases filled with information and can be accessed in more traditional ways. I've seen online phone books that used to give you the ability to comment on phone numbers - mostly to inform telemarketers and scammers. With the power of public intelligence in your hand, it's easier for you to dodge and block these troubles. Even better: without even picking up the phone.
This is another great feature of this app. It also gives you an easily accessible function to log and block these calls if you think they are unwanted.
The app also supports T9 search for your recent calls and names in your contacts. You would be pretty familiar with this as it is natively supported by Android's call function. The entire app will replace your contact and call to improve the experience. While it might be a little awkward at first, if you stick with it long enough, it will be second nature. Smart search and quick contact are also integrated. Using these numbers, you can search in reverse order for unknown numbers found on your phone, if you like.
Truecaller only takes up 2MB in-app data, it can get much more than if you chose an offline call dictionary. That is, the entire journal of numbers in your country is downloaded to your phone. While it can take up a lot of storage space, if you are the one to identify, it will be worth it in my book.
Truecaller: Caller ID, Spam Blocker, and Call Recorder is completely a service app and in my opinion, it shouldn't get to the point where Android needs an app to support it. If it was an integrated feature in the OS itself, it would be great. But for now, this app will help you prepare for unexpected anonymous phone calls.
